The hotel was perfectly located - near to the action and piazzas but far enough from the hustle of touristy centres. The staff were all fabulous, friendly and very helpful; especially the breakfast lady who was always very pleasant and extremely friendly. They also catered for gluten free diets for the breakfasts with GF bread available for every breakfast.
There was nothing that we didn't like. It is advised that there are no elevators and the hotel is two flights up, so be prepared to use your muscles with your luggage but the stay is worth it.

The hotel was perfect. It was in a great location. We had a fantastic time in Florence. It was our first visit and we made great memories.
The stairs. It was difficult having to carry your luggage too.

The location of the hotel is great. Just around the Mercato Centrale and walking distance to Piazza San Lorenzo.
Very convenient for reaching the Duomo and also Ponte Vecchio is not far.
Also rooms are very quiet and large enough for a 3-person accommodation..
The housekeeping could improve. the breakfast are is smaller than we expected. But more than enough..
But most importantly the hotel is at 2nd floor and there’s no elevator to carry your bags..
Huge problem if you are going with elderly and/or children.
