Enjoy a glass of wine while watching the magnificent Pacific Ocean breaking against the rocks below on the edge of the property. If you love the ocean you will love this house. Snuggle into the warmth of your own private hot tub while watching the untamed waves of the north coast peak and crash below. Delightedly walked into an incredible view over the ocean cliffs. Spectacular views with full windows across the whole house on the ocean side. Spectacular sunsets and captivating by the storms blowing in from the distant ocean!
Easy to use fireplace and hot tub enjoyed by our family. Highly recommend.

3. I mean the entire house is too old and many things need to repair/replace immediately.

Spectacular location, and despite the remoteness of the property, a full service grocery store only 10 mins away in Manchester. This location in Irish Beach, is convenient to go exploring the towns and sites up and down the CA coast.

A comfortable older house with reminders of good times at past Irish Beach visits (been visiting the area since the 1970s). clean windows for the fantastic ocean view, Comfortable bed & furniture & well-equipped kitchen with mix of old & new appliances. An issue with clothes washer - got fixed in a few days. Definitely would stay again. ( but house is for sale by International Realty so probably will be refurbished & priced out of our range.)

A family member suggested we go to Irish Beach for vacation so glad we did. The view of the ocean was amazing. We enjoyed ourselves so much that hopefully we can go back!

We’ve stayed here several times, and other rentals in Irish beach. But we always come back to the Morgan House. Saw that it is for sale now. Just hope if it does change hands, the new owners will continue with the rental program.

We had a great stay at the Morgan House! It does need some fixing up, but it's so cozy and the views are to die for! The owner Sandy is such a lovely person! It's definitely a great place to stay, it is for sale sadly. We will stay again for sure if it's still available in the future.

This is our second time staying at this property. This house had everything we needed for a long weekend away from home. The views are great and we also appreciate the short walk to the beach. We very much enjoyed our stay and will likely be back next year.

The house and view was good but the night we arrived a Hurricane came with 80 to100 mile winds and massive rain. The power went the next morning. With no power and heat [we had water] we were forced to huddle in front of the fireplace. Powerlines and trees blocked the roads out of there. We booked 6 nights but after 4 nights we were able to leave. the refunded 4 days to us. If we had power during our stay it would have been good. Steve and Carol

The location was amazing and the accommodations were acceptable. The property is a bit tired and in need of some work but nevertheless our family loved renting this home and making some special memories.

Beautiful location on the water, hot tub and fireplace were amazing! Property needs some TLC, shower master bathroom interesting set up didn’t care too much for that. Central heating was nice but unfortunately dog hair all over the place all over our clothes. Whoever last stayed and had a dog there is posting in the kitchen saying to keep pets off furniture but I would imagine hard to do. Maybe stay next time if there’s some upgrades to the home. Going out to the deck screen door completely ripped up and slider very hard to open and close small things like that and hopefully the owner

Dated but comfortable. Need to replace all linens/ towels with new, white is a good idea for ability to bleach with each laundering. Towels smelled very bad, musty or moldy like they were left in the washer for too long before drying. Luckily I brought my own due to my sensitivity to perfumed detergents. Beds squeak so bad its comical, not an issue for us. Written information sheets need to be updated and consolidated. It is confusing and not accurate, add information about the fireplace. We never found a beach sign or the house Preva to make the walk to the beach. The beach is accessible by vehicle on a one way road and saves you a very steep walk back up. Many restaurant suggestions were no longer in business. This location is amazing despite some minor disadvantages. You can't beat those sunsets and being able to bring our beloved dogs. They also loved it.

Loved our stay as always, I do hope they consider updating the beds though, they are pretty worn out with little support, we woke up pretty sore every morning. Vicki is very responsive, there was very little wood left when we arrived, with one call wood was delivered the very next morning. Overall, a wonderful house and a great value by todays standards. We will be back again and again I have no doubt.

I rented this property for a last minute birthday excursion for my mom’s birthday. The view is unbeatable and the open family/dining/kitchen area was wonderful. Our dogs had a fantastic time and the location was perfect for day trips to explore. We will definitely be return renters! ❤️

We were extremely happy with the accomodations. Everything we needed for a weeks stay. Fabulous view. Vicky was absolutely fantastic to work with. The listing was right on with the property. Would love to stay here again.

I was a little hesitant about this house after reading the reviews but was relieved when we got there and found the house was suitable for our vacation needs. Cleanliness wasn’t an issue. No bugs or pet hair. No unpleasant smells. The views are amazing, the hot tub is great, the window seating was a favorite place for our whole group. The kitchen had everything we needed, house is well stocked. This is by no means a luxury home, nor does it advertise that, and accommodations are reflected in the price, fairly I might add. If I could make any recommendations to the owners- update the beds and bedding, and install a mounted shower head in the master bathroom so there are two functional showers. Other than that, we would stay again!

This VRBO is a great home base in an area chock-full of fun things to do. We especially enjoyed the deck and hot tub for winding down after our long days of kayaking, hiking, rail-biking, and beachcombing. The house fixtures and furniture have seen better days, but if that's your priority in a vacation rental then this home probably won't hit your search results anyway. This house is great for people looking for a laid-back place with an awesome view in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood. The owners are quick to communicate with very clear directions on all things important! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Beautiful view of the ocean, but the outdoor furniture consists of just a few plastic chairs in bad shape. No lounge chairs or table to eat outside.
All the screen doors were torn, and when it rained one day, the ceiling in the hall bathroom leaked. It was overall very clean but run down.
Internet and TV worked fine. One thing that surprised us is how hot the rooms got due to the fact the windows would not open and the blinds were old and hard to open and close to block out the afternoon sun.
Some Vrbo rentals provide something for the guests like a bottle of wine as a welcome—nothing like that here. Basic kitchen stuff only. With attention and updating it could be a great place to stay.

We arrived and getting in was easy, but the house wasn’t clean at all. The windows were dirty, there was some kind of insect inside the kitchen sink , on kitchen counter and dining table, window drapers had thick layer of dust and when you drop them you could see dusts falling down, kitchen cabinets same dust all over them which took my wife couple of hours to clean them, too many notes on rules and they ask you to wash the towels and bed sheets although they charge a cleaning fee. Bathrooms are too old and one of them which there are no pictures of it on the site had mold on the walls and the sink was rusty.

The property undoubtedly has unimaginable views of the ocean. We spent hours enjoying the site and looked forward to the sunset during our time in the VRBO. The house is well furnished and we had everything in the we could possibly need. The only thing about the house that left me wishing was cleanliness. We found pet hair in the most unexpected places - clean towels, bath tub, seating areas and and even ladles.

This house 🏡 is all about the immediacy of surf, the sweep of coast to Pt Arena, the extensive pet-secure deck, and the endless miles of Irish Beach. Expect some ‘defurred’ 😹 maintenance, then enjoy the relaxation that comes from a host that truly welcomes your furry friends.
The house is very comfortable. The window seating made the ocean up close and personal, and the open great room had a nook for every desire. My 100 yr old mother had plenty of room to roller around. TV, wifi, DVD player all in good working order. We did have trouble getting the hot tub past 100 degrees but were so pleased with the master soaking tub we never got around to asking Vicky about it!
There are two short flight of stairs that were not visible in the video, and no bathroom on the main living floor, which was our main problem, given my mother.
The Manchester store has a little bit of everything, a true General Store, and does not skimp on the gourmet and organics.
Favorite local excursions: Kayaking at Van Dam, Mendocino Botanical Garden, Mendocino town, IB, Navarro Beach and watershed, Nolo Beach.
If your are in luck, Queenies will be back open, after the owner’s tragic death. Otherwise, best breakfast is 40 min north in Mendocino.

our stay was very relaxing due to the amazing location and views.
The house is outdated as is obvious from the pictures, but the location and views makes up for everything.
The common bathroom ceiling leaks( it rained during our stay), we had to make arrangements so as to no-one slips and falls. Master bedroom bath freaked me out for sure- perhaps remove that curtain and cover up the empty wall space?
Kitchen utensils and dishes are tired- maybe put better ones?
all in all - for the price its an excellent place just because of the views. I may visit again :)

Property was as described, the views from the windows inside were priceless. The home is definitely worn and the shower situation in the Master bedroom is a bit awkward, but all in all, it is a great stay for the price. The beach access is really good, you do have to drive, but it is a great beach.

We have been staying here for the last 4 years and have always enjoyed our time away. The views can't be beat and the house is always very clean and welcoming. We had to contact the owners regarding a problem this time, and they immediately made arrangements for someone to come to the house and resolve the problem. Will be back next year!

We stayed once before and were very pleased. House is advertised with tv and we couldnt watch. No christmas or sunday football games. Hall light and several track light bulbs out. No dishwasher. Leak in bathroom with trash can under it. Went to open kitchen window and the frame separated from the glass. Had to block cold air from coming in.
