As a solo traveller, this room was excellent. The bed was a great size (queen, I believe?) and comfortable, the en suite bathroom was a very nice luxury, and the wifi connection was smooth as butter. The host was very quick to respond to my questions, and patient as well. They want you to have a good experience just as much as you do.
The location was even better than I realized. You're right on the best section of Queen St. West. Fabric stores, restaurants, night life, thrift shops, small markets & convenience stores...they're all within walking distance of this room. The streetcar also stops right at Augusta, and it goes all the way up Queen St (also stops at the subway).

The washer/dryer combo machine was a bit of a pain. The default setting takes 3 hours(??), and I imagine it can be quite loud for your basement roommates. But I'm sure I could've figured it out if I had more time to use it.
There's also no iron or steamer available, which was a shame.
This final part is NOT a complaint, but more of a warning for anyone else who may not know: the shower is so close to the fire alarm, that if you have the shower running with the bathroom door open, the steam can set off the alarm. I didn't know that was possible, and neither did the host or my roommate at the time.

Établissement assez bien situé, pas trop loin du centre et du port de Toronto.
Les explications fournies pour trouver l'établissement et accéder à la chambres étaient très claires.
La chambre est un peu petite, surtout pour 3 personnes quand il faut utiliser le divan.
La chambre est proposée avec un parking gratuit. En fait il n'y a qu'un seul emplacement pour les 2 chambres louées. Malgré la demande faite à l'établissement lors de la réservation, c'est le premier client qui arrive qui prend la place !!
A mon avis, il serait préférable de garder la place de parking au client qui réserve le premier, surtout si cela St fait longtemps à l'avance. Ce qui était notre cas (6 mois avant la date du séjour)

Price and location with parking was the reason for choosing this location. Had appointment at hospital and needed to stay overnight. Was within walking distance. Had kitchen facilities in a common area.
Very, very basic room. Bed, couch and table were the only things in the room. Only one plug in the room but at the opposite end of the room so was inconvenient for phone charging and alarm. No table lamp just ceiling light, very bright. Very hard mattress.

Everything was as advertised. Great location. The simple bedroom A had a queen bed, a sofa which was also available for sleeping, and an older but nice bathroom with good shower and collect water pressure.
We did not use The shared kitchen but it did have everything needed if you wanted to prepare your own meals. It included a kitchen table and four chairs and had the TV for the apartment.
There is one parking space in the backyard.
Never met the owner (?) but he was available, polite and punctual to phone conversation.
I actually enjoyed my stay here. Not fancy by any means but was clean. It reminded me of a combination hostel setup and small sleeping accommodation on a train.
Wish the TV had been in the bedroom.
