The standard entry procedure is to get a code and collect keys from a lock box. The Booking.com message links wouldn't work on my phone so I emailed the host. Received a prompt reply, arranged a time and the host met us at the property. She also set the links via WhatsApp so we didn't need to use the messages link.
The 2 terraces were the highlight, especially the roof terrace with the view of the castle. The private swimming pool was a bonus. Whole property was light and airy and spotlessly clean.
One very small point - a mirror in the bedrooms would be useful

Het appartement was erg ruim. De twee badkamers maken echt een verschil met zes mensen in een appartement en de slaapkamers waren ruim.
Bij aankomst moesten wij wachten tot 16.00 zoals afgesproken. Wij zijn toen een rondje gaan lopen en toen we terugkwamen om 16.00 zeiden de schoonmakers tegen ons dat we tot 17.00 moesten blijven wachten aangezien de vorige gasten het niet netjes hadden achtergelaten. Hier kregen we na 16.00 ook nog bericht van. Ze boden ons geen optie aan waar we tot die tijd konden wachten en we hebben uiteindelijk zelf gevraagd of we dan bij het zwembad mochten verblijven. Aangezien de inchecktijd 16.00 was, was dit niet een heel prettig aankomst en hier kon naar ons idee iets anders mee omgegaan worden.
Ook troffen wij aan het eind van ons verblijf bij het opruimen in een lade in een van de kasten een zak met verrot voedsel van waarschijnlijk de vorige gasten aan, dit met een enorme vieze lucht.

Great location, 15 minute walk to old town. Apartment was clean with all the facilities and spacious for me and my 2 teen kids. They have a water machine on ground floor with is handy and a private pool. Air-conditioning in the apartment which is a bonus. Supermarket 3 minutes away.
Pool was very cold even though it was 30 degrees heat outside so couldnt stay in it any longer than a few minutes however great to have the option of a pool

The location was fine , handy to get out to different places,near a supermarket which is a bonus
We read all the reviews and that’s what we were expecting ,it says there’s a tour desk ,and when you walk in the building there is a desk and chair but we never saw anyone there the whole time.We went in the apartment and it looked lovely and clean , my husband took his shoes off and within Half an hour his new white socks were filthy .I got the mop and bucket out and cleaned it myself .the toaster wouldn’t hold the bread in , you could try 15 times before it worked.English instructions on how to get in the pool area and how to use the appliances would be helpful .I don’t want this to put other people going off as I’m sure it was an over sight and I’m hoping this review will help to make sure they keep their rating .
