Very nicely and with a good taste furnished and decorated apartment. Sea view, with the islands Sao Jorge and Pico, from the upper-floor (bigger) apartment. Comfortable couch and armchairs. A lot of room. Grill outside.
Sometimes a bit of a smell from the sewer system, especially when doors and windows are closed for a long time; with ventilation, it goes away. Although the house is in the countryside, a few neighbours are quite close.

This place was off the beaten path in the very best way! It was a perfect blend of a modern, updated home in the country with water views. There was a friendly cat that kept me company when I was hanging on the back patio

Location is good. Very quiet town on the west side of the island but it was a nice area to unplug and not more than 20 minutes from most restaurants. The view from the back deck is incredible, that was the part we loved the most.
The septic smell in the unit needs to be dealt with. Smells a bit like raw sewage around the bathroom area. That was the only negative about the property.

This property is an absolute gem! Modern, spacious apartment with an ocean view. The area is peaceful and delightful. The apartment is well-equipped with everything necessary, and more. Patricia, our host, was very helpful, offering great recommendations. A friendly little cat kept us company :) This place is one-of-a-kind! Highly recommended.
