This hotel was a very good value. It is right on the Tonle Sap River and has great views of the surrounding area. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were clean. The air con worked really well too. The location was nice; within walking distance from all the action in the riverside area but it was very quiet in the rooms and easy to sleep. There was also free parking.
My only minor complaint about the room was that the staff kept turning off the water heater to the shower and changing the settings, but by the end of my stay I was able to remember that the hot water likely wouldn't work before I got in the shower.
As for the common areas, there was definitely something left to be desired. The building was still under construction, so in many places the common areas seemed a bit bare. And the elevators were mind-numbingly slow. Only 2 elevators for 15 floors and these were not only the slowest elevators I've experienced in a while, but they operate independently. So instead of pressing one up/down button and the elevators choosing the best elevator for you based on their respective locations, you have to press both buttons. That makes catching an elevator even more difficult, because both elevators are constantly on the move.

The river view was fabulous!
The bedding was stained. The balcony was filthy. We requested a clean up, and they did clean the next day.
Breakfast took ages to arrive. Choices were limited.
