Nestled in Indian Rocks Beach, this attractive condo for $204 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Summary: The Chunky Mermaid is new with tasteful decorations to pull the space together. Big 75" TV, big double queen guest room, and king sized master bedroom. The Chunky Mermaid is the perfect beach house to get your toes in the water in minutes, the perfect beach community to walk to local cuisine, with the perfect creature comforts of home. The space is built for families/groups that want to have fun together with epic sunsets perfect for sun downers. The Space: I designed this space to be comfortable, relaxing, and spacious for groups of up to 6 people. The photos are exact, the furnishing are new and comfy, and the balcony views are best right after an afternoon shower. All the interior was redone in 2023, all the furniture is new in 2023, even the pool was just completed and new in 2023! This booking is for the first floor unit of the duplex and you can book both units for added fun for groups up to 12 people. The property has large comfortable beds only! I have stayed too many times cramped in a bed smaller than a queen and I want guests to sleep well after a sun and fun-filled day. The kitchen is packed full of any cooking item you need, with larger pots/pans to easily create a larger meal for all hungry guests. Oh the garage!!! It's huge - on your side you'll be able to park 2 cars (plus one in the driveway) and still have room for bikes, toys, and anything else you want to bring. Plus in the garage there's a beach cart, beach chairs, and even an extra full fridge to stock with drinks during your stay. Then there's the BEACH! It's a block away to get into the lagoon like water. The Gulf usually has gentle waves perfect for kids to play in, sugar white soft sand, and it's never too crowded to find a spot to enjoy for the day. The Pool is shared with a few units so I had the decking and the pool overbuilt to provide plenty of personal space to enjoy the secluded oasis. BTR # 2123 Guest Access: 24 hour Keypad Access The Neighborhood: THE BEST - I have been vacationing to beaches since I was 5 years old. I can tell you that after spending weeks and weeks of my life at the beach; Indian Rocks Beach is the best I've found. After 35 years of traveling to beaches I picked IRB and finally bought a beach home for our family to enjoy for years to come. Easy smooth warm beach swimming, fun unique dining, lots and lots to do all over - get here as soon as you can to experience it yourself........ Getting Around: FEET FIRST - your toes will be in the gulf in under a two minute walk. Plus you can walk to the inter-coastal side in the same time. Your feet can get you to a gas stations for extra ice/beverages in two minutes as well. Hungry? There are several restaurants within a two minute walk also. Other Things to Note: I have the beach items handled. 6 beach towels are in the closet in the guest bathroom. Plus theres a beach cart in the garage and 6 beach chairs. We are a family of 6 and will not tolerate disrespectful behavior of any kind. We spend several weeks a year at our property and expect guests to treat our space with integrity. THERE IS NO SMOKING OR VAPING AT ALL NO PETS ARE ALLOWED If you are smoking in the space or bring a pet, you will be asked to leave immediately

Except for the fact that VRBO didn't get us our check in information things were great. That was corrected quickly and easily with a call to our host. Caleb has put a lot of thought into guest comfort. Almost everything we needed was in the condo. We were less than a block from the awesome Indian Rocks Beach. Also less than a block from the awesome Cafe de Paris. This place is the real deal. Also highly recommend going down beach just a bit to Guppy's. Yum.

Clean, comfortable, and quite. We enjoyed our stay. Location was great. Safe area to take a morning walk and get to the beach easily. Great variety of places to eat. Many easy to walk to. Bed and furniture were in great shape and comfy. Well maintained.

Beautiful Stay at the Chunky Mermaid. decorated beautifully and very clean. Everything you can need for a great beach vacation. Stores like Walmart and Publix just a short drive away for essentials. We enjoyed making breakfast there in the morning and then enjoying lunch or dinner out. Pool is great out back. There's a tree that unfortunately sheds a lot and so we did have to skim the pool when we used it. But host did have cleaners come out on schedule while we where there. This place fit our family of 4 adults very very well. Very spacious. We loved watching the sunsets from the front balcony too. and all the beach and pool things to use in the garage where fantastic. you can walk right to the beach and to eat, rent bikes or golf carts and have tons of fun. neighborhood is quiet and clean. Fans in closets where appreciated since we love to sleep w sound on. AC was wonderful. Beds comfy. Looking forward to booking w Caleb again, he was tan amazing and attentive host.
