Skiemonių Dvaras is a restored 15th-century estate. The buildings were purchased and restored at his own expense by Lithuanian businessman Zenonas Karalkevičius. Within the complex, he established an ethnographic museum of traditional life, the “Šaulių namai” tavern, and a museum dedicated to Blessed Archbishop Teofilius Matulionis. Zenonas is also an official member of the Royal Union of Lithuanian Nobility.
The manor and its grounds are full of fascinating details: museum rooms, antiques, old carriages, hunting exhibits and traditional household objects. The courtyard is very charming, with wonderful handmade wooden swings for both children and adults. Just across the road stands a beautiful old wooden church.
We stayed in Room No. 2. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was new and modern. A bridge leads directly from the parking area to the second floor, so there is no need to climb stairs. As this is an old wooden building, sound insulation is limited, but it did not disturb us at all. It was peaceful and quiet, and we slept very well.
Breakfast was delicious and filling. We also enjoyed excellent cepelinai and beer and bought some incredibly delicious honey to take home.

Our deepest gratitude goes to the owner, Zenonas Karalkevičius, for his extraordinary work, his generous heart and his love for Lithuania, which can be felt in every detail.

Skiemonių dvarą rekomenduoju aplankyti kiekvienam.Tai tarytum grįžimas pas močiutę ir daugiau.Autentiška aplinka mena mūsų istoriją.Pats viešbutėlis kuklus ,bet labai jaukus ir švarus.
Maistas skanus,cepelinai ir virtinukai buvo nuostabūs.Personalas rūpestingas ir malonus.Visas mūsų kolektyvas dėkoja už jaukų priėmimą.

Puiki vieta, puikūs šeimininkai ir pusryčiai. Labai jauku, gal pasisekė, kad buvo mažiau žmonių ir dėl to pavyko gana privačiai pabūti.
