Location, staff, interior design, clean
Nothing that I didn’t like, I will say gym is very small , I think breakfast could have been better, I’ve had better breakfast in other countries in their hotels.

We had a very pleasant stay at Montebelo Vista Alegre Lisboa Chiado. The hotel is beautifully designed, with elegant interiors and a great location for exploring Lisbon. Our room was comfortable, stylish and very well maintained. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was also very enjoyable, with a good selection and a relaxed atmosphere. Overall, a lovely hotel with a refined yet welcoming feel, and one I would happily stay at again.
The only thing I would say could be improved is the breakfast offering, as I often stay at Montebelo Vista Alegre in Ílhavo and find that their breakfast is much superior.

This hotel was very elegant. The rooms are all ornate and very decorative. The rooms are clean and so pretty. The service is amazing and the staff are polite and cater to their guests. It is in a good location. You are walking distance to the city centre. The walk is 5-7 minutes at most. The hotel used to be a palace so it is quite luxurious.

The location is very convenient and it’s a pretty hotel.
I booked one night for my birthday for purpose of having a dinner and drinks with friends in the city (I live outside Lisbon) and to finally get a good night’s sleep because I have a young child. I booked a courtyard room and asked for a quiet room in the notes. When I arrived, they told me they had upgraded me. The room looked exactly the same as the photos of the room I booked but I was facing the roundabout/street in front of the hotel. I called the front desk and they assured me the windows and shutters would block out street noise - and they did until around 6:45 when the garbage truck came to collect from all the bins directly outside my window. I brought this up at checkout and they were aware of the issue. I also paid ahead for the €50 breakfast, which seemed very expensive but I’ve had amazing breakfasts at 5 star hotels so I was willing to give it a try. This was maybe a 4 star hotel breakfast and certainly not with €50 so don’t waste your money. There are so many excellent restaurants for 1/4 of the price nearby.
