The hotel’s location was very close to the main tourist attractions. You can reach the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore in just a 3-minute walk. The Ponte Vecchio is also within walking distance. There are also supermarkets and restaurants very close by.
The room was clean and had everything we needed: a kettle, a decent-sized fridge, glasses, plates, cutlery, iron, air conditioning, etc.
Just a small note: when using the elevator, you need to press the button for the 2nd floor, even though the room is on the top floor. There is a button for the 3rd floor in the elevator, but there is actually no 3rd floor in the building :D
Since the hotel is located in the city center, there can be some noise from the street at night. If you’re a light sleeper, this could be an issue.

Il punto forte della struttura è la posizione, a due passi da Piazza del Duomo e dalla stazione di Santa Maria Novella. Il bagno e le camere erano piuttosto puliti ed abbiamo apprezzato molto la presenza di un frigorifero abbastanza grande, oltre che dell’aria condizionata in entrambe le camere e dell’ascensore.
Una pecca importante è lo sgradevole odore di fogna che proviene dal bagno e dal lavandino della camera con il frigorifero e il divano letto.

Location.
Absolutely no WiFi in Salvia - the room we were in. We kept saying to the host that there is no WiFi and they didn’t make any effort to resolve the situation.
We messaged the host at about 10pm about cockroach and they came next day after 11am to address the issue and give us an insecticide spray.
