A lovely place run by incredibly friendly people. Right in the centre of Ella, just up a side road at the end of the main strip- making it easy to get to and from. Room was basic but just what we needed for a short stay. The hot water for the shower was very consistent. We didn’t use it, but the garden outside looks like a lovely place to sit and relax. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Couldn’t get our window to shut, but it was fine as there is a mosquito net provided.

Everything a homestay should be - fantastic. Located just off the main road with clean, comfortable rooms and a lovely garden area to enjoy in the morning and evening. Hosts are warm, welcoming and helpful. And fantastic value for money. Highly recommended. Thankyou!!

Aruna is a true gentleman and one of the most beautiful people you can ever meet. Himself and his whanau showed us such hospitality and the accomodation is in a great location, everything is fairly steep in Ella but this wasn’t bad and close to the main road with a lovely wee garden. Rooms are basic but adequate and theirs so many walks, waterfall’s restaurants and bars that we were hardly in our rooms anyway.

Right from the first greeting from our lovely host 59B Rest Inn felt like a warm hug.
The garden area and outdoor seating area was lovely. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. It was a short walk into the town area but be aware it is a steep road up and down…. but worth the effort.
