The only way the host would respond is when I contacted VRBO. The property was so filthy I wouldn't even bring my luggage into it. VRBO did NOTHING for me. I had to reverse the charges with my credit card, which they did after I showed them the awful pictures of the place. I will not consider VRBO again.

Note: We could not rate the cleanliness or accuracy of the listing but this review required some rating of them. Starting a week before our trip, we still had not received any information regarding check in procedures, or even the address of the property. An e-mail was sent to the host with no response, then a text, followed up by two more text requests. Three days before our trip, we called the host and reached him. He assured us he would send the information to our e-mail. Two days before our trip, we called VRBO and they provided the address to the property, but were unable to contact the host. One day before our trip, we tried again to call the host but were unable to reach him, nor could VRBO representatives. They advised us to wait until the day we were to check in and try to reach him. A call in the morning of our trip got no response. There was no mail box set up on the host’s phone, so no way to leave a message. Nevertheless, we travelled to Sonora and located the unit, a one story apartment in a line of apartments which was locked with a lockbox. Since we had no code, we called VRBO again and they tried the host, to no avail. Fortunately, VRBO had a contingency plan and immediately booked us into a local hotel for the night where we remained for the stay. VRBO was most helpful. In short, this host is completely unresponsive and will not provide information necessary to enter his unit. We strongly recommend that you avoid this rental!

This place was a mess! Dog hair everywhere, beds not made and had soiled sheets, no clean towels, toilet was gross, bathtub was filthy. Basically the bathroom looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for months. No instructions on how to use TV or WiFi. Had to ask the host for every little thing. Reached out to the host about the condition of the place and he was very dismissive. If I can put zero rating I would. Don’t rent this place!
