Fantastic location - we were able to walk to and complete 4 Munroes from the hotel door. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Hotel clean, tidy and comfortable, and the building itself was amazing and castle like. The whole place was very quirky and in an evening had bingo/ quizzes and a singer on for the coach trip guests - which we thought we would hate - but actually really enjoyed!
The evening food menu looked a little bland- but we ate at the pub across the road, so this wasn't a problem for us.

Location was excellent, situated on the banks of Loch Awe. The views were breathtaking. Staff were really friendly and rooms were clean and our bathroom was fairly modern.
The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, extremely firm, but that is just personal preference for us. Parking is very limited on a busy day, we ended up parking a bit away from the hotel so be prepared to get there for the start of check in through the summer months I’d say.

The location is like nothing to compare it with, just incredible
Since it is sort of a remote location, we wanted to get a dinner at the hotel, and we were told there is no table available. I said it is okay, we can wait until one becomes available. To that I was responded it will not be available even though I said we can wait. Then the next day I saw the restaurant area, and the area had tables for hundreds of guests, so I was more disappointed why we werent let in.
