Beautiful small B&B. The room's private porch looks over a beautiful garden - we saw a hummingbird on the porch and coati roaming the garden! José was an incredibly helpful host. We loved staying there and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Monteverde
The location is slightly away from the town, so if you don't have a car, it is a bit of a dark walk back at night

This is a lovely eco lodge set back from the road in a pretty setting. We had gorgeous swing chairs on our balcony and saw the sun set. Lovely home made pancakes and eggs for breakfast.
It did feel a bit isolated. There could have been some outdoor benches or seating in the area for an alternative /community place to sit. There was no indoor community space. The host who welcomed us wasn't on site after our arrival (but was communicating via WhatsApp) and our Spanish wasn't quite good enough to speak with the family making our breakfast. Our lodge was right next to another lodge and they were very noisy so it was hard to sleep.

The kindness of the hosting family :) very nice and inspiring
The weather was very windy, due to which was difficult to sleep, but that is something out of the control of the hosts, so I would give 10/10 either way :)
