Great value and great breakfast options!

The room was very clean and the hotel had 4 options for breakfast. The bar area was nice and they had special happy hour prices.

The room was extremely hot when we arrived. The unit does not have an AC unit and only has some options for vents on the windows in the bathroom and the living areas. The vents in the central area are covered by curtains at night to keep privacy so there was not much airflow. I would suggest lowering the curtains to allow for my airflow into the area for a better sleep.

Perfect location, friendly staff, clean rooms

We loved the breakfast and friendly staff and the pool table. On walking distance from restaurants, Great location The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean.

wifi ok Laundry was very expensive. 5$ per kilo, which is exaggerated.

convenient location to downtown. the room was spacious for two. the staff were very friendly and helpful. we enjoyed the happy hour as well!

The inn was good value for what we paid

Breakfast was excellent The view was beautiful

We booked a second night but couldn’t get the same room. The second room was not as nice and it was up a hill also the location from town was up a vey steep hill.

Very friendly staff. The best restaurant we went in all CR! Very good situated! Super helpful.

Our room was near the street and therefore we heard the cars passing. This is the only negativ point but for the cheap price, this was ok.

great affordable location

very large rooms with great showers and water pressure. near town with decent off street parking. breakfast was standard. the staff was super helpful with planning. they do close at 9ish so don’t get there too late!

great value for money almost down town santa elena

very very clean and comfortable beds close to down town of the village with super friendly receptionist!

our room was facing the street and we did not have a lot garden view, but there are ither rooms

It was okay.

Breakfast was good and the maintenance staff was excellent. The location of the hotel was great; it was close enough to walk into town but far enough away to have quiet. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The bed was comfortable.

The male receptionist was a bit rude and the room was a bit small.

-it sits on a bit of a hill so coming back from the town is a little hike, but not too bad

Clean room, helpful staff, and excellent food!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was great, a short walk to the town. The staff was helpful and arranged our tours. They also gave recommendations and advice for driving to our next hotel. The food was excellent!

Helpful, friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Conveniently located. We extended our stay!

The room was clean, cozy and comfortable for two travelers. The beds were very comfortable and pleasant after days spent doing lots of hiking and activities. It was easy to walk down the hill a short ways (around 5minutes) to restaurants for dinner, although we could have stayed onsite as there is a restaurant and bar. All of the staff were especially friendly and helpful and provided us with great suggestions for activities and tours and assisted to book everything. Shuttles picked up from the property directly which was especially convenient since Monteverde is a bit tricky to navigate if you aren't local. Parking onsite was free and convenient. The breakfast was tasty and there were multiple options as well as juice and coffee beverages provided. The small bar onsite was enjoyable and the patio had a great view - would recommend for happy hour! Overall great experience - we ended up extending our stay an extra night because we enjoyed it so much.

Overall it was a wonderful stay. The only thing that could have been better may have been a small fan in the room and maybe screen over the small bathroom window.

Pleasant location, friendly staff

We stayed in the double room for two nights and then the superior double for one night. The superior was worth the extra money if you want AC, more space, toiletries, a newer room, a shower door so water doesn't get everywhere, indoor entryway so fewer bugs get in, and a more comfortable and larger bed! There were four slightly different breakfast options so that was nice for a three night-stay. The staff was helpful in organizing tours for us last-minute and the owner was very friendly. .

Communication regarding one of the tours we booked through the front-desk: we were told we'd be picked up at 8:20, but the bus actually came to get us at 7:55 so we weren't ready, but had to go anyway and it felt very stressful.

Would recommend for a night or two.

It has everything we needed and was close to town. It was clean and the breakfast was quite good. Staff were friendly.

More hooks or spots to hang/put towels and clothes would be nice. We didn’t have the best internet hookup the last 2 days.

Excellent location. Easy walk to town, restaurants, shops. Very comfortable beds, very clean.

Would have liked a view. We were in a room with a window that looked out on other balconies.
