Pros:This was a nice house in a nice neighborhood. It was a quiet, peaceful, good area of town right outside of Lafayette. The beds were comfortable. It was a nice sized 4 bedroom, 2 bath home with good sized rooms. It has large windows in the living room overlooking a picturesque pond.Cons:The floors and baseboards could have been much cleaner. There were many broken fixtures in the house. The light in the master bath where the toilet is located was not working. We had to leave the door open when using this area since there was not natural light present when the door was closed. The toilet paper holder in this area was also broken and pulled out of the wall. In the second bath the towel holder was not present. There was a hole in the wall where it used to be. In the living room, the curtain rod for the large windows was not present (there were holes in the wall over the windows where there used to be one). It would have been nice to have a curtain over the large window at night. The kitchen was sparsely equipped. There was no glass drinking glasses. Only a few plastic glasses. There were only 3 & 1/2 coffee cups. (the handle was broken on one). We had to go buy disposable cups as well as paper towels, garbage bags, and toilet paper. I asked the host about these paper items and he said he required his guests to bring their own and this was listed in the description of the property. I could not find this anywhere in the listing.

Family-friendly neighborhood. My children enjoyed being able to fish in the pond behind the home. Close to town. The house was wealth worth the money. It was big, clean, and had games for all ages in the home. It was a nice getaway home!
