The location was great & the flat was very spacious.

Yes, received the lockbox code and could then help ourselves to entering the property.
Parking was a little tricky, as not enough space for a SUV car.
The upstairs flat is lacking a little personality, so has the bare minimum.

Short walk to a nice pub. Nearby outside space for our dog. Convenient location for our needs. Affordable
Living room table was dirty - looked like someone had just finished eating a pizza there! The bed was broken. Slats on one side had been snapped off & were missing - when husband leant on edge of bed he went through!
I reported this to the owner who didn't believe me! No attempt to fix and the apology didn't come until the next day.
The cooker has a fault - it has to be switched off at the mains because the ignition switch for the gas sparks constantly otherwise. There's no way the owner could not have known this but they did not warn us in advance...I'm not sure its entirely safe
Yet another disappointing stay using booking.com. We vow never to use again because we've been let down so many times. The most frustrating thing is that you can't get through to a real person at booking.com to complain & bad reviews are never followed up
