Instructions on how to find it. Only a small brass plaque on the side of the doorway.

The location was fantastic being in the cultural district. I walked straight out of the door and to all of the activities and restaurants.

The room was big and clean. The location was fantastic, right in the central part of the old city amongst all the tourist bars/restaurants and shopping.
The elevator was broken, so the initial ascent up the stairs, with our large bags, was unwelcomed. The proprietor sent me a message after we got in to ask if the lift was operational yet; the more I thought about that, a couple things occured to me: He had left the building about the time we were arriving, which he communicated well, but he knew the lift was broken when he left, and had no idea what our physical limitations might be, and just left us to discover the broken lift, with nobody present to assist. For me, that was annoying but not a real problem. For an elderly or disabled guest, that may have been a real problem. The lift was still broken after our two night stay, so I am also dubious of his inquiring of me whether the lift had been repaired in the ~30 minutes he had been away. I am pretty confident that he knew it wasn't fixed.
My only other complaint is that we left the air conditioner on when we went out for the day (I am American, I like my room cold. The air conditioner took a long time to cool the room to what I feel is a reasonable temperature, so of course I left it on, like a civilized human), and while we were out, someone came in to turn off the AC. While they were in the room to do that, they didn't make the bed or replace the coffee pods...the only apparent thing that was done was to make the room less comfortable for us. That was not appreciated. I didn't care to have the bed made (coffee would have been well recieved...), I didn't need any service, had expressed that to the owners whem we met them on our way out, and so I am not sure why they even went into the room.
