Personal and secluded. It’s a perfect spot between big resorts and it felt like returning home when being out and about. Gardens are very attractive and maintained. The restaurant has excellent position and there are chairs and tables on the boardwalk which we used every day. Better off than the majority of larger resorts during the redevelopment because the pool is set back and within a closed in garden area, but you can still see out to the ocean. The photos are accurate. We ate at the family-run Warung Budi Ayu . The duck betutu and hospitality are worth a stop in candidasa.
The massive redevelopment project means heavy equipment all along the shoreline. It will be fabulous for the area in a couple years time, but for now if you just want to lay on the beach in front of your accommodation ..go to another area with your hard earned holiday time and money. Tiny bit of sand at very low tide and a no swimming sign?? The property looks lovely but is in need of some brightening up on the timber work.

Wonderful small hotel with great staff, beautiful gardens and on the beach front . Value for money.
I missed having a refrigerator in my room, did not miss a tv . A Small thing and the only thing otherwise a wonderful weeks stay in this lovely
place. I have booked to return next year.

Koselig og pent. Beliggenhet kunne vært perfekt men de jobber på stranden så vi kunne ikke gå noen steder og kunne ikke bade i sjøen. Vi valgte å reise etter en natt og fikk penge tilbake

Elke ochtend thee op de veranda , die echt de hele dag warmen lekker bleef in de thermoskan
Helaas kan het hotel hier niets aan doen. Maar er was geen toegang tot het strand vanwege werkzaamheden
Herstel van kustbescherming
• Bulldozers worden gebruikt om:
• grote stenen of betonblokken te verplaatsen
• zand te verplaatsen of op te spuiten
• bestaande golfbrekers te versterken
• Dit gebeurt regelmatig omdat:
• golven structuren beschadigen
• het strand anders verder verdwijnt
👉 Dit is eigenlijk onderhoud aan de “verdediging” van de kust.
