This is essentially a self-contained apartment serviced by the hotel which surrounds it, Bayshore Villas. The apartment is really great, beautiful beach-feel design, tons of windows and a huge balcony looking straight out to the ocean, really spacious and comfortable, we loved the unit itself. A small thing but we really appreciated the water dispenser. For the evening time, the TV set-up was stellar, a million channels and great internet. With these features, we could have stayed here a month.
The things we didn't like were connected to Bayshore Villas rather than the apartment. A burst water pipe due to some construction mishap left us without water for 2 hours. No electricity for 3 hours the prior day. The hotel restaurant.....well, not our best meals in Bali, let's just say that. However, the apartment has a kitchen with stove and large fridge and there are other options so this should not be a deal-breaker.

Visited Ocean Suites at the end of a two week trip. This apartment was our favourite. It’s position on the beach is amazing, the views spectacular. It is light and airy , with quality fixtures and fittings. The two bathrooms were contemporary and 3 showers a luxury. The bed is super comfy. I think my best night sleep in 2 weeks. Although a private apartment it enjoys the facilities of an exclusive personal resort. The restaurant was lovely and ate there on both nights. Can’t write a review without mentioning the hairdryer. The people who own this apartment know the importance of a quality hairdryer. It was my last day in Bali but had descent hair thanks to Ocean Suites!!!
Candidasa is a must see part of Bali. It’s the gateway to a variety of attractions such as Heavens Gate and the Water Palace. A visit to these must be on the list to a holiday in Bali. I thoroughly recommend a visit and to stay at Ocean Suites is icing on the cake!! Thank you
