Chambre propre et confortable. Personnel courtois et attentionné. Belle vue depuis la terrace. Bien localisé à 3 minutes à pieds du ferry.
Les petits déjeuners débutent trop tard (8h), quand il faut partir tôt pour des visites avant la grosse chaleur. Insonorisation faible. On entend tout ce qui se passe dehors et ça peut nuire au sommeil (mais l'île est généralement tranquille).

This guesthouse is located in the Elephantine island and so one can enjoy the wide city view from its roof balcony. Very close to the public ferry boat dock, but one needs to walk up a small/short slope to reach the house, and then climb its stairs a little with your suitcases to your room. Kindly, however, the house owner helped us carry the suitcase upstairs.
Tours of Aswan and to the Abu Simbel shrine can be purchased from the house owner. I am not sure whether its price is reasonable or not, and so one probably needs to negotiate the price with him. If you are not good at negotiation, this sale may be unnecessary.

Mir fällt im Nachhinein nichts ein, was mir besonders gut gefallen hat
Aufgrund der präsentierten Fotos hatten wir vorab relativ positive Erwartungen. Die Realität sei doch etwas anders aus. Zimmer war sehr dunkel und kühl und klamm. Betten waren nicht sonderlich kuschelig. Frühstück war extrem einfach und nicht sonderlich appetitlich. Lager auf der Insel war doch im Nachhinein etwas abgelegen. Küche ist praktisch unbenutzbar. Terrasse nur mit ein paar Stühlen bestückt und nicht besonders einladend. Der Vermieter versucht dann doch noch weitere Dienstleistungen anzubieten. Außerdem hat uns gedrängt vor Abreise noch eine positive Bewertung abzugeben. So ein Fall ist natürlich nicht akzeptabel und geht gar nicht.
