For the most part, this place was fantastic. The room was very clean, comfortable, spacious, warm, and well equipped. The location is atop a hill with a nice view, and it is in a rural location that is quiet at night. Also, the staff were very nice every time I interacted with them.
The check-in process could be improved. I arrived a little after 6pm when there were no staff around (the room is only available for check-in at 4pm and I think their office closes by 5pm). First, I had trouble figuring out where the parking lot in the instructions they had sent me was located - so I parked in one lot initially, wandered around a bit, and then moved my vehicle to the correct location (the other guests seemed to do the same thing, so I wasn't the only one who was confused). Second, after getting to my room I had trouble getting on wifi and had one other question. They had given me a WhatsApp number to message if I had questions, but nobody responded to my message for a full hour and a half - and then the initial response was basically "Thank you for contacting us, we'll respond during our regular office hours" (though shortly after I replied, somebody did send me a real message).

Great little find. Cute room with all the amenities we needed. Really comfy bed and cosy room. Nice bathroom and loved the little balcony. Bits provided for breakfast were also a lovely thought.
Tiny bits that didn't affect our stay in any way. Some black mould just by the patio door and the door to the bathroom got stuck on the floor. Couple of marks on the walls but nothing a tiny bit of paint wouldn't sort. Tiny mark on the sheets but we genuinely really loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

It was clean.
Wouldn’t stay again. No view due to a big works van outside the window. No bath mat on a slippy bathroom floor noisy guests shouting outside the door n playing music at 1.30 dangerous to walk into town down the hill
