Rolig beliggenhed med fin pool.

God beliggenhed i kort afstand til Corons larmende hovedgade. 50-100 pesos med tuk tuk til centrum. Fin balkon væk fra vejen. Værelset var Ok - lidt småt. Fin pool.

Meget elendig morgenmad - tørt brød, ingen ost, kun marmelade, “juice” som var limonade, nes café eller lignende. Personalet var påtaget venlige og upersonlige.

Would stay here again

Comfortable and clean room, helpful staff, good buffet breakfast with lots of options, parking for hire scooters, nice swimming pool. Only a short scooter ride to the main part of town.

There's no shower door so the bathroom floor got very wet and there was no bathmat to dry it.

Clean modern hotel with a terrace for breakfast

1. The room is spacious. We stayed on 5th floor facing the mountain and found it quiet. 2. The restaurant is on 6th floor and breakfast is also served on the terrace with a good view of Coron mountains 3. The hotel is on the outskirt of Coron town centre, so it is a bit quiet. Tricycle/tuktuk ride to town only costs around 50-60php for 2 persons in total. 4. Pickup/dropoff from and to the airport costs 250php per person, which is very reasonable

1. Water runs a bit weak from the shower head 2. Our data sim card did not work well in the room (but it worked pretty well in the lobby). So we had to switch to the hotel's wifi in the room. 3. We spent one dinner in the hotel's restaurant, but we regretted to do so. We ordered a dish of Pork Adobo and some vegetables. The pork meats were very hard to chew and we ended up leaving most of the meats on the plate. We complained to the staff and they only said they would convey our comments to the chef. 4. Breakfast is simple. It would be better if more salad choices are available. 5. Very slow to response prior to our stay - It took them several days to get back to my questions re tours information.

Good value for money . Would recommend . Staff helpful and comfortable stay .

Good location, away from the town noise. Easy to get a cheap bike jeep taxi P80 into town . Room was clean and comfortable . Nice towels . Bathroom soaps etc . Breakfast fantastic with a view . Pool clean with towels supplied . Beds very comfortable . Staff very helpful, helped with booking boat tours and taxi to airport P250 .

We couldn’t get the telly to work ( no big deal ) The back rooms don’t have a good view , room 217 looked like a rubbish tip . Front rooms looked nice , with swim ups on the ground floor .

Improve your service

The room space and interior design is nice here. Food here is better than other resort in Coron that I've ever been. Restaurant staffs are helpful also.

Staffs have very bad communication skill. Housekeepers wear shoes during clean the room so the floor is dirty all the time and they change just one towel every room but we stay 2 guests in each room?!? Also didnt change the used glasses, cups and teaspoons. And when we called to room service to inform them what happen they seem they didnt understand... On Arrival day, we booked for airport transfer for 11 guests with baggages but we got only one van which is cannot fix everything so we have to sit on the floor all the way to hotel, and driver charge us PHP250 each =total 2,750. Then on departure date we requested for two van and reception staff inform me the cost was PHP2,000 for each van so total was PHP4,000 ?!?! Ok at least we no need to sit on the floor again. PS. the photo is my wet napkin after clean the room floor on check in day.

Prima hotel op een paar minpuntjes na

Ontbijt is vooral Filipijns, als je daar niet houdt is er weinig te kiezen

De (slimme) deur van je kamer gaat PIEPEN als-ie te lang open blijft staan. Er zijn families die meerdere kamers naast elkaar hebben en voortdurend heen en weer lopen op de gang. De deuren PIEPEN dan langdurig, later op de avond en in de nacht is dat erg irritant

Great experience.

We stayed in another hotel prior to our booking here so we can compare the difference. The staff welcomed us with welcome beverages and warm smile. They were very polite and the hotel smelled good. The pool was also nice with a bar that stays open until 10pm. They offered us a 15% voucher to purchase on lunch or dinner at the roof top . The room was very clean and has good amenities and bed. The small balcony made a big difference for us as we relaxed there for some time. 15’ walking distance to the center . Value for money as well.

It was nice but thought it could have been better seeing how it was advertised.

It is a lovely hotel, clean room and nice facilities. U have to get a tricycle to the town as to walk would be dangerous given no footpaths or proper lighting on road however it is very close to town.

Poor wifi, tv didn't work in the room and it took ages for water to get hot in shower. My partner had to work for a day and the reception weren't helpful at all until I got annoyed and complained about it. Initially they didn't have another room to put us in however once I pushed it they eventually moved us into a different room with wifi tv etc working. I also booked a double bed and they put us into a room both times with 2 single beds. I didn't bother saying that to them as we had enough with figuring out how my partner was going to work without wifi. Also breakfast wasn't great.

Reception staff were extremely helpful: from lending me their phone to make phone calls, storage of luggage prior to my check in, to checkin in, room service, organizing my in-room massage service and organizing the shuttle on my departure day; everything was smooth! Room was very clean and tidy. Woukd be nice if they have added a pair of slippers.

Choices in breakfast buffet is very limited and also taste subpar

Good, clean, reliable home base for tours and rest after a long flight

Incredible breakfast! AC and hot water worked well in hotel. Wifi was ok, not reliable. Hotel was clean and new. The rooftop is nice and 24 hr room service is convenient. photos were accurate. There were usually tricycles waiting outside of the hotel to take you into town.

Location is not central - have to take a tricycle to restaurants, sites, etc. 25 min walk to town. Hotel advertises that they exchange money (USD to PHP) but they only do it when the office is open, and they only exchange a MINIMUM of $100 USD which is insanely high for the area. They booked a tour for us, say we could pay for it when we checked out as a charge on the room, and never mentioned it had to be in cash. We were checking out and suddenly they wanted cash, but wouldn't exchange our 20's in USD. ATMs near hotel are all out of service.

Stay here if there is no other food option

The room was spacious and AC worked well

Even though the hotel is pretty new, it is not kept up well. All the glass and mirrors inside the room were dirty. The room in general is not very clean. We booked suite and there was no door to the bathroom… at all! It’s like you are using toilet right in your room. No privacy what so ever. Doesn’t look like the room was cleaned or prepared for the guests. There were no basic necessities in the bathroom and almost no toilet paper….. WiFi was barely working and we had to call front desk to restart the router every single night… Breakfast was pretty mediocre…didn’t look like food was prepared fresh, or rather leftovers from prior day reused. Staff was nice but you have to call multiple times when requesting from the room. Sometimes they don’t even answer your call and just had to go downstairs to make request in person after multiple calls within an hour.

Location with cleanliness is its strength. Everything was an “okay” experience.

Proximity to a tricycle terminal, A Mcdonalds, and a drug store/convenience store. Rooms were clean and maintained. Food is adequate. Good but not great, maybe compromised with foreign taste.

The WiFi Password has to be rewritten properly because the paper they hand out is password incorrect. The towels were very new; the towel residues cling onto our skin which is quite bothersome. Staff were very new and are noticeably not proficient. Maybe a little more training and time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Venus Royal, the room and pool were great and the housekeeping cleaned our room each day.

Love the large bathroom and big bed with balcony and clean pool with pool towels. Great location easy access to everything.

No fridge and plastic bottled water and not much fruit for breakfast.

Amazing stay and will definitely recommend to stay at this hotel while you explore Coron.

It’s a new hotel located near the town centre. Rooms were comfortable and the service was great. We felt very well looked after and had an amazing time.

Might need to emphasise a bit more on the cleaning of public areas but the rest was amazing.
