Welcome to our home! Your comfort and enjoyment are our top priorities.
📍Nestled within the coveted Southlands Subdivision, our modern basement suite, built in August 2023, offers a serene retreat with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and a convenient kitchenette.
😴Need space for a 3rd guest? We've got you covered with a cozy cot, complete with pillows and linens, available upon request for a nominal fee of $30.
Feel at Home:
Designed for convenience and relaxation, our suite boasts a bright and airy open-concept layout. Explore nearby walking and ATV trails, shopping, restaurants or unwind in our 2-person plug-and-play hot tub, gather around the propane fire pit, or let the kids play on the swing set!
Entertainment options abound with streaming services and Bell cable TV.
*Please note: While our kitchenette is fully equipped, there's no oven. Fear not, though!—make use of the stove top and oven-type air fryer for your culinary adventures!
Laundry & Parking:
Though we don't have on-site laundry facilities, take advantage of our affordable laundry service for $15 per load—wash and dry included.
Parking is a breeze with two designated spots, and street parking is also available.
Access & Considerations:
While our attentive hosts reside upstairs, we ensure minimal disruption during your stay.
Please note that occasional noise from the upstairs unit may occur.
Access to the suite is via the back entrance, with stairs featuring a slight incline/decline. Kindly review our photos, as these stairs may not be suitable for all guests.
Guest Guidelines:
To comply with regulations, kindly list all adult guests on your reservation, with a maximum of 3 adults per booking (additional children are warmly welcomed!).
We regret that overnight guests not listed on the reservation are not permitted.
As a courtesy to our neighbors and in accordance with city bylaws, refrain from creating excessive noise—especially between 11 pm and 7 am.

This is a very nice little apartment in the lower level of the host's home. They went out of their way to be available but unobtrusive. The house is nearly new in a beautiful subdivision, and the apartment is very well designed. It's not large but has everything you need. The hot tub was perfect - I used it three times in a one-night stay. We took a tour of St. Johns, and the driver picked us up and dropped us off at the house. Otherwise, we drove to our destinations, so the off-street parking was nice. I think some people are reluctant to stay in private quarters inside someone's home. I'm not, and was not disappointed. It's like sharing the home, without the social obligations that come with a B&B. St. John's was much chillier and windier than I would have imagined, even in mid-June. Did I mention how nice the hot tub was?

Our stay in Monique & Damen’s suite was great! It’s very comfortable, quiet & clean. They added nice additions such as coffee, tea, shampoo/conditioner & guide pamphlets for checking out the area. Monique was very kind in making sure we were comfortable and not in need of anything. Location is just outside St. John’s, it’s easy to navigate to all the sights. And…there is a hot tub right out the door to relax in after a long day of sightseeing! Will definitely return if ever in the area.

The accommodations and location was perfect for our stay. Our host Monique had gathered some local information to add options to our trip to St John's. We loved the apartment decor.
