A lovely host and great location - easy to get around the city. Loved the very spacious open plan kitchen/diner/living area, and the facilities in the kitchen and bathroom were fab. And despite being close to main roads it's very quiet, the only noise is from the downpipes (flushing toilets etc) however we were aware of this before booking, and it remained mostly quiet from 11pm - 6am.
While we coped as a family with young kids, it's not the comfiest experience for families. There are two decent sized bedrooms, one stop the other, but the upstairs one is only separated by a blackout curtain and thin floorboards. The stairs also require children to be old enough to take care, as they are quite high up and exposed. If you're a family that goes to bed at the same time, or you don't mind tip toeing after putting kids to bed, you shouldn't find it a problem!
