The price was great for the location and the room was clean, comfortable, had a nice shower, and cute seaside decor. I liked that there was a little sitting area and a shelf table with stools as well as a place to hang your clothes - it was a good use of space for the small size of the room. The staff member (I believe it was the owner) was very friendly and allowed late check out by one hour for no extra charge, which I really appreciated. The location was about a 10 minute walk to the beach trail off of Sanjon, an additional 5 minutes to the pier, and then another several minutes to the downtown area with all the shops and restaurants so you really can walk to some nice places. There were also a couple of restaurants and a boba tea shop within a 3 minute walk when going the other direction (turning right out of the parking lot). There was a cute but tiny fridge and a safe in the room. It was also nice that you could just park horizontally right in front of the room.
I really do not have any complaints and I stand by my 5 star review but some nice extra touches would be a microwave and coffee maker or maybe just having coffee/tea offered at the check in area. I also think that there should be more hooks in the bathroom because the two hooks are right in front of the shower and there is no door on the shower so a little bit of water splashed on my towel and clothes. Also, just FYI, the bathroom door is a sliding door and does not lock. None of these things are a big deal to me and the pros outweigh any little inconvenience so, overall, I would still definitely come back and stay again.
