Loved the outdoor area and the space, great for a family with 5 bedrooms. The beds were comfy and the view of the lake is wonderful.
Cleanliness and maintenance. The house itself is in desperate need of a deep clean and some maintenance. There are fingerprints all over the walls, lots of dust on skirting boards and electrical sockets and the kitchen cupboards require a wipe down. We arrived to our first view of the home with the bins surrounded by bags of rubbinsh and the bbq utensils, tongs and spatula, had not been cleaned, nor had the bbq fat bucket been emptied. The toilets/bathroom require maintenance. we alerted the property management team of a possible leak in both toilets (on our first morning) as each morning and afternoon there was some moisture around the toilets, particularly in the grout, which seemed to run down the grout and pooled in certain areas. We were also unable to use the ensuite shower due to the loose shower head slider, which made the ensuite shower unsafe and unusable. When alerting the property management team of the issues after the first night of our stay, we simply received a "we apologise for the inconvenienve" response but no solution or remedy to the issues. Unacceptable conspidering this property is actually run by a property management team and the price that we paid for this property per night is on par with 4-5 star hotels in the area.
