Fabulous location overlooking the bay to Mumbles, close to city shops, food places, entertainment area's
Stairs made it a little difficult with a big case, im the kitchen area teatowels need to be regularly cycled and a plug required for the sinc.

excellent location, just such a shame there is nothing to do around there. Badly needs investment. We could see that Hoopers seems to have once offered entertainment, a coffee bar but it wasn't obvious if that is still open. I could see the owner was fixing the place up and doing some maintenance, so hopefully some more things to do will be offered around there. The Location and Swansea bay is so beautiful. Our room was recently decorated and that was lovely but the cleanliness wasn't the best. The bathroom was dusty , shower glass needed a wipe down and was in need of a deep clean and one of the beds needed the sheets changing. Having said that once we contacted the owner it was sorted immediately. It's a nice place to stay, just needs a few tweaks.
There is a distinct lack of entertainment and things to do in the immediate area and at the guest house. It's such a shame as there is HUGE potential. This isn't restricted to just Hoopers but the wider area in general.
Lack of restaurants, very few places to eat, have breakfast, coffee.

Bed was very comfortable and bonus having a fan light owner was very nice and friendly. Beach is fantastic and a short walk to the Marina where we found a fantastic place for Breakfast.
Cafe downstairs was permanenty closed which we were not aware until we turned up so had to find somewhere for breakfast. Parking okay but have to move the car every 3 hrs if planning to stay the day. The duel carageway outside seems to get used as a race track even though its 30 VERY noisy beach is beaufiful but lots of rubbish.
The kitchin only has one small fridge which was full so nowhere to put anything chilled.
