Hanok Hanok has an excellent location, super friendly and helpful staff that speak great English. The Gyeongbokgung Palace is right at your doorstep and it's only a short walk or an easy subway ride to other sites. Also, you have easy access to shops and restaurants. Staying in a traditional Hanbok residence was also a fantastic experience. My room was small but perfect for a solo traveller. I would highly recommend Hanok Hanok to other people.
It was totally fine for me as a solo traveller travelling light but my room was smallish and would not be great for a couple with loads of luggage. Also, being traditional, the bed is a mattress on the floor. I found it to be super comfy but some older people may have trouble getting up and down. I however loved it!

Perfectly located cozy and cute mini hotel. Stuff extremely helpful and friendly.
Lovely inner garden.
It’s quite quiet for city center.
Consider that hotel was remade from ancient hanok house and rooms are small and there no European bad. If you prefer to hang out and discover city all day long and just fall asleep after returning- it’s your choice. Nice for 2-3 day stay.
Our room was located just near entrance and sometimes we have heard the door, but since there only few guest rooms it’s was rare.

Very cozy, we felt so at home. The location in the Seochon neighborhood is very local, not touristy. We felt a more authentic connection to Seoul and its culture.
Staff is helpful and accommodating.
