A wonderful location with a good array of local retail outlets. The property was set up to a very good standard, with all you needed for an excellent place to stay whilst visiting the wonderful city of York.
The TV reception was generally hit and miss, partly due to router location, giving weak reception spots around the large property.
During our visit there was extensive building restoration going on at the ajoining property, with all the associated noise all day, with no notification given to us at any time during booking or before arrival!

The location is good with ‘Bishy Road’ just on the door step with its independent shops, bars and restaurants. There was a makers market bizarre on the Sunday. Also a lovely park, 5 mins walk away. The weather was glorious.
We liked everything, but if I have to mention something it will be … Not enough dishwasher tablets … only two for a Friday til Monday stay.

Well equipped and located
There was an issue with damage caused by our dog and the managers initially requested unreasonable compensation.
After discussion it was settled at a reasonable cost.
We decided to extend our stay by a day. It was efficiently completed in a friendly fair way.
