The hosts were really thorough with instructions around the house and easily contactable. We especially loved the cinema room and all of the York photos dotted around. Despite it being on a main road we didn’t hear any noise in the bedrooms. Plenty of kitchen items and on the whole a lovely stay.
It would have been useful to have a second toilet located on the first floor just because when you’re in the basement the toilet is up 2 flights of stairs but not a massive deal and also a banister into the basement would have been ideal but these are very minor things and wouldn’t stop us coming back.

Very well equipped, nicely decorated downstairs very spacious
The windows in bedrooms on first floor didn’t open and it was very stuffy.

My grandchildren loved the games room and the huge selection of books and games. The youngest one wanted to stay!! My daughter and l loved the calming decor and the location. The house was spotlessly clean.
We loved it all.
