About this house rental
Come park in our two car garage off the alley and make your way into our Victorian home that can sleep up to 10. Enjoy the quaint kitchen or sip coffee at the work station in the foyer. This 3 Bedroom 2 bath home is cozy and charming. Enjoy the front porch swing or hang out on the back deck and yard in the warm months. Just a short walk to many local bars and restaurants and 2.5 miles from Wrigley Field. You can take public transportation at the end of the block to anywhere in the city. A short walk to ice skating or tennis at McFetridge Park. You can also go for a nice run / walk along the Chicago River in Horner Park. You can venture a little further to an expanded restaurant selection in Lincoln Square as well or take quick Uber ride downtown. Try any of the multiple breweries in the area which include Dovetail Brewing, Metropolitan, Eris, Burning Bush, Revolution, Maplewood Brewery, Begyle, Half Acre, Spiteful, Empirical, Alarmist and Old Irving Brewery. Overall the property was exactly what our family needed. Location was convenient to all our activities. Bathroom and kitchen are a bit worn but we aren’t upset by a little age on a property. Instructions on using the garage area could have been a bit clearer, but after 1 time we figured it out. Sleeping arrangement were fine for 5 adults. Owner was very communicative and the wine was a nice touch. Thanks!!

David was the perfect host. This property is in a great location, great neighborhood, friendly neighbors, and an easy commute or uber to any attraction or downtown. The house is fully stocked and has everything in the kitchen you would need for cooking. When we return, for sure will be looking to see if this house is available.

The house has a great location and is very clean and well-stocked with towels and toiletries. Not a criticism of the place, but if you really travel with a large group, as we did, the garage is small for a large vehicle and the house is crowded with bodies. We only really needed a place to shower and sleep, and it was perfect for that. Highly recommend.

I stayed at Dave and Liz's place for a long summer weekend. Everything was great. Nice bedrooms, beds, bathrooms, air conditioning etc. and it was nice to have a garage for parking. Dave was very communicative. Would stay here again!
