The location was terrific. Across the street from the Pacific. Great walking boardwalk. Easy access to beach. Shopping at Cambria village close by. The house overall was good. We had several suggestions that I email Tena about. Overall, great place to stay. Elizabeth

This house is in a perfect location. We took walks everyday on the boardwalk just steps away. It’s slightly dated inside, but everything was clean so it didn’t bother us much. The proximity to the ocean makes up for it. Easy check in and out process.

This place is absolutely wonderful! Great location, great view, peaceful, quiet, and a short walk to the beach, boardwalk, restaurants and more. While there were only two of us, the house would easily accommodate 6-8 people comfortably with bedrooms and living space both upstairs and downstairs. The second floor oceanfront/view balcony was just spectacular! We even had the awesome experience of seeing whales. Garage parking is an added bonus and the house is well stocked and equipped with washer/dryer and more. This was a great getaway to escape the COVID nightmare for my wife and I. Small disappointments were that after a long 7-hour drive, we arrived after the 4:00 PM check-in time and had not yet been provided any check-in instructions. It was only after we contacted the owner that the instructions were sent to us while sitting in the driveway. The other issue that was a larger inconvenience for us is that we packed food to prepare on the BBQ grill pictured and listed as amenities only to find there was not one. When we contacted the owner within an hour of check-in, she was unresponsive and remained so throughout our stay. Not even an apology. It was not a life or death issue as we adapted… but. In the owner’s defense, I believe she is new to this as the listing was new and did not have any prior reviews. We are not complainers and trust that she, like all of us, has a lot on her plate. All said, we would love to return.

This property is right on Moonstone Beach Drive so nothing but clear views and sounds of the ocean. Since it is on Moonstone and directly across from the boardwalk there is a lot of car traffic and foot traffic on the weekends so not much privacy on the balcony if that is what you are looking for. The house itself is very nice. Several rooms have been updated and they had more work scheduled the day we left. Great restaurants all close by. Moonstone Beach Bar and Grill has great views from their outdoor seating but is very busy. The Spot, Linn’s and French Corner Bakery in east village are very good too. We will stay here again.

This was a perfect location for us. Very near the town of Cambria with it’s fun shopping and tasty restaurants. The boardwalk was right outside our front door for us to stroll and had access to the beach. The huge windows gave us wonderful views and sunsets. Quick access to Hwy 1 made it easy to explore other sites. I can’t imagine a better place to stay. Our first time using vrbo I was a little nervous but the process and communication was perfect. Our 50th Anniversary will be a great memory of our time here.

This was the perfect way to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary! The views were stunning. The property is so close to the beach and a short walk into town. It’s a short drive to the elephant seal rookery, and we saw a dazzle of zebras on the way…right on the side of the 1! We also spent a day wine tasting in Paso Robles. I couldn’t have asked for a better location. The house was big and clean. The kitchen was well-stocked, and Tena always responded very quickly to any message I sent. I highly recommend staying at this property!

We enjoyed our stay and the location cannot be beat. Plenty of space in this house and the view of the ocean/sunset is stunning. The only drawback is the cleanliness and furniture. The beds and tables are old and not comfortable. The pots and pans are in need of serious replacement (especially the non-stick pans). The tables and carpets were dirty. Overall, we would definitely stay here again since the only thing that needs to be corrected is the cleanliness and furniture upgrade. We had a great time and enjoyed the house quite a bit.

We loved the location and truly enjoyed the house. We did not realize when we booked the house it would be in the process of a remodel but looking forward to a future stay with all the upgrades!

We were very happy with how wonderfully equipped the house was. Very clean, fabulous location and view. We were not happy about being locked out of the half bath that was connected to the downstairs bedroom and was advertised as part of what we were paying for.

Wonderful location on Moonstone Beach, easy access to surf just across the street and a short walk or drive to great food.

The panoramic view, proximity to the boardwalk and beach made for a great experience. The house was very clean, quite spacious, and well equipped. Comfortable seating in the living room takes advantage of the view. Bring your own personal care items and toiletries. Would love to return.

This was our first ever to rent a home for vacay with friends. The location just beautiful. The balcony overlooking Moonstone Beach and listening to the waves was peaceful. The home has steps so it's a little hard on our knees but has handrails that provided safety for us older folks. Well equipped kitchen for cooking with friends. Very clean and neat home. Would certainly stay there again.

This condo is in a beautiful location with spectacular views right across from the Moonstone Boardwalk, with easy beach access. It is clean, comfortable and well stocked. I’m so sad that I must give a poor review about our experience. Our third morning of 4 days (3 nights) there was a power outage for 4 hours; it was planned for 6 hours by PG and E and customers in the affected area had been notified in mid June. We had a friend nearby who verified this. The owner indicated she had known about it when I spoke with her. A generator on the property did not work and we spent time troubleshooting with her in the phone. Since she was aware we could have been prepared or given the choice to book a different time. Knowing about a coming outage as the nearby residents did presents a different situation as you can make plans. Additionally our check in was delayed 40 minutes as we scrambled trying to deal with the impossible lockbox (which may be replaced, as she mentioned, so she knew it was difficult but there was no special word or help) I kindly explained why this inconvenience merited a partially refund, (my parents are elderly and the lack of internet and power, and the unknown of how long without the communication really interfered with our short special vacation) My two attempts to communicate this were completely ignored. I have now waited a weekend with hopes of a response and apology at least and have receivedThat is what bothers me most. Beware if anything goes wrong.

Booked the property for a 2 day stay June 30th thru July 2nd for my husband & myself as well as another couple. I had received confirmation of the booking & house rules & my card was charged. After arriving in Cambria, I realized I hadn’t received directions on how to access the home. I reached out to Tena via the app, voicemail & text with no response. I called VRBO, who was also unable to reach her. Because we were 2.5 hours beyond our check in time, they put us in a hotel for 1 night. Later that evening, Tena reached out saying she doesn’t allow 2 night stays and didn’t have us on her calendar & the home wasn’t clean as renters had just left. So there we were, stuck hours from home & had to find a hotel for the rest of the weekend - on a busy holiday weekend. VRBO and Tena both mentioned we would be refunded - but here we are 4 days later & I still do not have a refund. VRBO says they are investigating & cannot return my money until they speak to Tena. This is because Tena responded to my message on the VRBO app at 7pm on Friday (check in was at 4pm) giving me directions on how to access the home - so VRBO thinks we stayed at the home. Yet shortly after that message, she sent another message asking me to call her immediately - only to tell me she didn’t have me in her books and couldn’t accommodate our two night stay. Therefore, I will now be forced to file a dispute on my credit card for the VRBO charge that should’ve been refunded immediately.

Great location! Beautiful coastline and beaches. Property was great, but be aware there are several stairs. Downstairs area would be perfect for kids, with upstairs for adults. We had 2 couples and only used the bathroom on the bottom floor. Really enjoyed our stay!

Location, location, location! This rental was perfect for location and accommodations for our two week visit to the area. The house was very comfortable and welcoming and offered many amenities for a home away from home. Host Tena was great to work with, answering questions and making sure our needs were met. The web site description and pictures are accurate. You've got killer views from every living/dining room window, are just steps to Cambria's Moonstone Beach Boardwalk and the direct access to the beach couldn't be more convenient. Just lovely in every way.

This location was perfect for our trip. Easy access to boardwalk, great views from deck, short drive to town. The bedrooms and living areas were spacious and comfortable. Plenty of special touches in amenities that made it even better. I will definitely stay here again.

Great Location, right on the water. Very quiet and spacious. Great for two couples traveling with a couple children as it is set up with a whole separate suite on the bottom floor for privacy. Short two mile walk (back and forth) to North Cambria. Spectacular views of the ocean.

Terrible getting lock box open. Also could not close it for very long time. Property was great and convenient

Roomy home overlooking Moonstone Beach. Newer furnishings and well maintained. Truly one of the premier properties along the California coast. Outstanding porch overlooking beach and nice rear patio for relaxation. All the comforts of home, with a million-dollar view. Highly recommended!

Beautiful views of the ocean. Clean place with a well-stocked kitchen and an attached garage with garage door opener. We enjoyed our stay here and would come again!
