The pristine sandy shoreline and clear blue waters of Kings Beach are a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Along the main street, you can find unique boutiques, souvenir shops, and art galleries. The dining scene is just as diverse, with options ranging from casual cafes and bakeries to upscale restaurants. Whether you're looking for a relaxing day by the water or an afternoon of shopping and dining, Kings Beach has something for everyone. 10 min drive to Tahoe City Close to Tahoe City restaurants. Commons Beach is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike, located just a short walk from the heart of Tahoe City. Surrounded by towering pine trees and overlooking Lake Tahoe, this beautiful public beach is the perfect spot for picnicking, sunbathing, and swimming. For those who want to grab a bite to eat, there are several restaurants and cafes located nearby. Some popular options include Fire Sign Café, Za's and River Grill. Each of these establishments offers a unique dining experience and a variety of cuisine options, making it easy to find something that everyone in your group The easy rules and instructions are on in the white binder and the house. Due to health and safety issues, we do not allow houses to go over the indicated maximum occupancy of 4 adults and 2 children without prior authorization. No smoking. Must state legally...Any violation of this will lead to loss of deposit and loss of rental monies as we will have to ask you to leave immediately. Placer County has strict rules regarding over-occupancy of short-term rental homes as well as large fines. There is a $1000 fine per over-occupant if this occurs and any costs associated with over occupancy. We do not split up Friday and Saturday nights when staying less than a week. We ask you to follow all the easy rules in a white binder. A motion camera on driveway/sideyard for safety as we live in bear country. Do not leave food in cars. We do not allow more than 2 cars without prior authorization. Please help the environment and traffic so everyone can enjoy this beautiful area for years to come. Please use the large metal bear-proof garbage box at the end of driveway (instructions in white binder) If you have create excess garbage that does not fit, you must take home or occur $200 fee. We are happy to give late check-outs and early check-ins when possible. Just ask! During peak times that is usually impossible, but again we love to accommodate when possible!!! Our house cleaning company charges $150 per hour for late checkouts that are not pre-approved. As you start planning your trip, we ask that you purchase trip insurance. Traveling to the Sierra mountains at any time of year has inherent risks and uncertainty, such as Covid, snow, air quality, fires, road conditions or personal health, or some other reason. As such, we expect our guests to mitigate these risks by purchasing trip insurance (in particular, "cancel for any reason" insurance).
