On March 11th, 2022, the county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing. Some Highlights include:
•Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time.
•Parking is limited to the following number of spaces: 3
POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3. By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant, and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation, and transportation services.

Quaint cabin in a peaceful and quiet community. With this being my first time in Tahoe, I was expecting a bit more lake view based on the listing. The lake peaked through the trees and we watched a lovely a filtered sunrise each morning. Everything was otherwise as stated. Property management was responsive and available for clarifying minor things for check in /checkout. Location was convenient for accessing the north and west parts of the lake.

My family has stayed at numerous VRBO properties and this was by far our favourite for a variety of reasons: location, amenities, charm, well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, and overall comfort. We loved exploring the lakeshore by day and cooking meals, sitting on the deck among the trees, and enjoying the hot tub at night. The property was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our week-long stay. I can't recommend this property enough - it's the perfect home base for a terrific vacation in north Tahoe!

Loved this cozy cabin with lake views! Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. There is some road noise, but it quieted down at night. 2 minor things to make it even better... a good wine bottle opener and the upstairs loft room needs better bedside lighting (cute wall lamps, but the bulbs do not emit enough light to read by).

We had an amazing 3 days at this lovely house by Tahoe. It was so warm, cozy and well equipped, it felt like a home rather than a rental. Spectacular views, great audio and TV equipment, a kitchen with everything you would ever need, an excellent BBQ and of course the epic hot tub! It allowed us to explore the Tahoe area in considerable comfort. Thank you!
