Extremely disappointing

Nothing

Extremely disappointing and not worth the money. Unfortunately, I would absolutely not recommend staying here. The apartment was nowhere near the standard we expected for the price, and the response from MadeComfy afterwards was just as disappointing. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. The kitchenware was genuinely disgusting. Pots and pans had old, burnt and dried-on food, some utensils were burnt/melted, cutlery and other utensils were dirty, cupboards were dirty and stained, and the apartment generally felt dirty and untidy. I was uncomfortable using the kitchenware and had to thoroughly clean items myself before I felt comfortable using them. When you pay good money for accommodation with a kitchen, you should be able to use the dishes, cookware and utensils without having to wonder whether they have actually been cleaned. There were also numerous other issues throughout the stay: • Dishwasher was not working, which was extremely inconvenient • Shower repeatedly went from hot to cold while being used • Oven door appeared broken/unsafe and felt like it was going to fall off when opened • One of the stovetop burners did not work • No air conditioning in the bedroom • Pool was unavailable due to construction • Construction/light rail works were extremely disruptive and woke us at around 6am every morning, including weekends • Location was not particularly convenient • Early check-in and late check-out could not be accommodated We reported the dishwasher issue during our stay through the app. We did not expect someone to necessarily come and repair it immediately, but we did expect some acknowledgement or communication, which we never received. After checking out, I contacted MadeComfy politely and requested a partial refund given the number and severity of the issues. I was not asking for a full refund or anything unreasonable. I would have considered even a modest gesture, such as $100, a reasonable acknowledgement of the experience.

Size was good and washing machine, dryer and kitchen facilities

Had to pick up the keys from across the street at a shop and they didn’t give instructions on where to go. It was hard to find where it was exactly, how to get in the underground parking and even finding the room was confusing lots of roadworks outside
