With access to 6,000 skiable acres, 43 chairlifts, and the only funitel in the US, skiing Palisades Tahoe has earned a place on many a skier's bucket list. Beyond the slopes, visitors can enjoy ice skating, snow tubing, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. The house was just beautiful! It is a very modern Bauhaus style home with soaring ceilings and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the valley towards the ski area. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large and spacious ( great steam shower in the master suite). The kitchen was open and well equipped. The kids had fun with the loft that had 4 bunk beds. Overall the house was very comfortable and great for the family. The best part was the family room that had a cozy area for sofas, fireplace and TV in the great room. We would stay again!
