Reasonable price, clean and comfortable
The shower (opposite room 5) was scorching hot and would not go cooler despite turning both taps in each direction

Good value for money. I especially liked that the lounge with the sofa was separated from the bed and bathroom. The kitchenette in the room had a fridge/freezer in addition to a sink and facilities for making tea/coffee, which was all I needed. There is a bigger kitchen down the hall from the room, where one could make hot food as well.
Beds were very comfy, and although the room was situated towards the street the noice from the busy morning traffic did not disturb my sleep nor the morning Zoom-meeting I needed to attend.

Great location just out of the centre of Cambridge but not too far away to drive or get the bus in and explore. Very clean and warm accommodation.
The hand soap dispenser had run out and there was no dish rack or area to dry the dishes. Though there is a separate communal kitchen which can be used if needed.

This is a difficult place to review. There are things I liked. There are things I didn't like. I would say though that to be fair I chose it at 7 pm and it was about 100 yards from where I was and I needed somewhere to stay. From that point of view it was perfect. The whole place is conflicted. It's been done up in a very well meaning attempt to be, shall we say, 'boutique'. And it has been done well, at least from a design point of view. It has got faux panelling, it's got a selection of tea. But unfortunately this is just styling. It's not really fit for purpose. Obviously. It's just a little interwar terrace with an extension. They have put 6 'studios' in. It's a damn good effort but it needs cleaning properly and the decorating needs to be addressed, there's a lot of silicone sealant. Having said that. The bed was excellent, very comfortable. And surprisingly because I think it was full of contractors or (if they are still a thing, traveling salesmen) it was super quiet. I think I was lucky with this because evidently there's no acoustic insulation.
I wouldn't stay there again, but if you are within 100 yards of the property in the evening and want a comfy bed, it's fantastic. I would say though. The price on this site, I had a reduction for genius and a reduction for online booking which meant I paid half the amount it's advertised for. If I'd have paid the full amount I would have been seriously pissed off.
