The location and character of this property are what make it outstanding. It is at the end of a very quiet cobbled cul-de-sac with its own parking space. All the rooms are a good size and well decorated. The kitchen is well equipped. There are two toilets and a bathtub, and a separate shower which we did not use.
The living room is lovely with a TV if you're interested, though not a Smart TV so no way to connect to Netflix for example.
However, to sit and chat or read in, it is very relaxing with old wooden shutters for the evening.
It is so close to walk into the city, or out along the river. There is a wonderful deli and an Indian restaurant at the end of the road.
We booked this the night before we moved in so the hosts did a great job of preparing the place for us. I would recommend it if you have the money.
The second bedroom with two single beds smelt slightly damp and there was mould on the blind behind the bed. The double bed in the main room was apparently very comfortable. The single beds were less comfortable.
It is a wonderful house in a great position but I do think it is very expensive.
