The location was partly chosen to be near to Lewes with easy access to the town on foot and by bus, but also to be near our friends, who live on the opposite side of the main road, so the location was perfect. All the facilities were spot on - clean and tidy, with some nice decor that was bright and gave an air of care and attention to detail. The bed was a bonus - so big and very comfortable. We were grateful for the blinds in the bedroom to keep the room cool during the summer heatwave. We were surprised that there was no TV, but actually it was nice for a change, and we weren't in much anyway as we were out and about in Lewes and Glynde all weekend. The bus stop right outside on the main road was very useful for getting to These Hills Beer Festival in Glynde. And everyone locally was so friendly, it was a joy to be made to feel so welcome.
We could have done with a blind in the bathroom. It was difficult at first to tell if the window was overlooked: it was patterned glass, but still a little weird, when the light was on, knowing that anyone outside could see in! More importantly though, the bathroom was really hot with the heatwave sun streaming through the window - could have done with a blind to keep it cooler. It would also be helpful to know that the front door of the flat is actually in the road around the corner and not in Queens Road…took us a few minutes to figure that out, so worth a mention.

Really lovely apartment, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and tidy. Great little base to explore Lewes. I would say it is a 25 minute walk into the town center so may not be suitable if you aren't able to walk too far.
Nothing really to say here. There was some banging and moving of furniture above the bedroom early on Sunday morning (between 7am-8am) but didn't last long and is part and parcel of renting a small flat on the edge of another property.

It was very quaint and furnished in a lovely way. It has everything anyone could need for a stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if ever in the area, we would happily stay again.
Only slight concerns were no lock on bathroom, no lock on adjoining for anxious visitors and lastly I think the main shower head needs a good clean or replacing.

The flat is spacious, very bright and clean, with plenty of room for two people. The area is residential, with houses featuring gardens, and is very quiet and well connected to Lewes by bus. The host was incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommended.
There wasn’t anything in particular that I didn’t like.
