We absolutely loved this beautifully restored and thoughtfully furnished house. It has a lot of attention to detail, craftsmanship and design. It is spread over three floors and has two wonderful rooftop terraces, where we enjoyed our morning coffee and spent relaxing afternoons in the shade.
But the best part was definitely our host, Maryam. She impressed us not only with her incredible friendliness and attentiveness, but also with the delicious tajine she prepared for us - without a doubt the best we had during our entire trip through Morocco!

A mí grupo y a mí nos gustó todo del Riad. Estaba limpio, buena ubicación. Meryam encantadora, siempre dispuesta a ayudarnos, prepara unos desayunos y cenas que no pueden ser mejores. Nos ayudó con los taxis desde y hacia el aeropuerto, y para una excursión que hicimos desde Essaouira. No tengo palabras de agradecimiento por todas las atenciones recibidas hacia todos nosotros.

Fantastic house, renovated with love. The rooms and living spaces are beautiful. It is very quiet and has a great location in the medina, but also close to parking. Meryam is a super kind host, and she prepared a very tasty breakfast for us.

L’emplacement : C'est le gros point fort de ce riad. Il est idéalement situé dans une rue relativement calme, ce qui permet de visiter la ville très facilement à pied.
La literie & l'accueil : Les chambres restent correctes et on y dort bien. De plus, l'accueil par Meriem était plutôt agréable et pas mal.
L'ambiance générale et la luminosité : La première impression est assez spéciale. Le riad est globalement sombre, en particulier la pièce du bas (qui fait office de cuisine/salle à manger), que j'ai trouvée sombre et assez vétuste.
Le manque cruel de propreté et d'entretien : C'est le gros point noir de notre séjour. Les parties communes sont très poussiéreuses. Le même constat s'applique à la terrasse supérieure, qui manque cruellement d'entretien et de nettoyage.
Présence de nuisibles : Plus grave encore, nous avons eu des cafards dans la salle de bain et, pire, des fourmis directement dans notre lit.
Au vu de la pluie d'avis positifs sur internet, je repars relativement déçu de ce riad. Si l'emplacement et l'accueil sont au rendez-vous, le manque de propreté et la présence d'insectes gâchent l'expérience.
