This place is incredibly special. Basically it's an ecolodge with an amazing level of friendly, personal attention from the warmest, kindest staff I have ever encountered. The forest and setting are gorgeous and the birds are amazing. I got ten new birds for my life list within my first twelve hours!- including the Palawan hornbills that hangout at the lodge every night! The tokay geckos at night in the restaurant are huge and spectacular!!!
Speaking of the restaurant- The restaurant food is exceptional. I loved the lemon garlic shrimp so much I ordered it three nights in a row! We tried every single appetizer and loved them all and other members of our group loved the mango chicken and grilled fish. Breakfasts were amazing! Guaranteed you will love the food!
The tents are huge and comfortable, and so attractive in layout. There are four bathrooms shared amongst guests but each bathroom is huge and lovely with a shower, toilet and sink each.
The lodge has lovely communal relaxing areas - dining room, lounge and pool area and there is a nice firepit for cozy fireside hangouts.
We did the island hopping snorkeling trip and it was wonderful...... SO much better than El Nido! The next day we went back to the best snorkeling spot again. Julius was our snorkeling guide and he was amazing! The clownfish, anemone and coral underwater photos he shared with me really made my snorkeling trip (my pictures were rubbish lol). The coral was astonishing, as were the fish.
We also did the guided hike to the top of the mountain behind the lodge. It takes about two hours (there and back) and it is really rugged. Wear good shoes!
We were only here three days but will definitely come back, next time for much longer!!!

Parada is a unique place to stay. Communication was wonderful with the hosts, and we had to change our dates due to personal circumstances which were accommodated (and appreciated). The location is wonderful and the hosts were lovely as were the staff. Nothing was a problem. The tents were luxurious and had a good fan (hot during the day but fine during the night), the showers were good and the food was amazing. A really lovely stay - the only reason this is not a 10 is that there was not a beach right in front of the resort (you had to walk a little way to find the sand!)
It was pretty perfect except for the walk to the beach. We loved our time there.

L’île est très belle, isolée, pour les personnes qui recherchent le calme c’est Super !
Aucunes activités proposées, nous avions réservé 8 nuits !
( très mal expliqué sur booking, je n’aie pas compris tt de suite que le camp
se trouvait sur une île, pour y arriver c’est minimum 2h !
Au bout de 4 nuits ça devenait insupportable, 4 jours de pluie de tempête, on a pas pu se baigner, il n’y à absolument rien à faire du matin au soir.
N’oubliez pas d’emporter un livre. Très cher pour dormir sous tente !
