The bed was really comfortable and the place was spotless. Everything you need for a short stay is there. The room is beautiful and well thought out.
The first morning, we were awaken around 7 am by a ball banging on the wall next to our room and some shouting. Also, when we left the second morning, because we have to walk on the grass a little bit to get to the car, one of us walked in a dog poo..

The concept of this "retreat" was good and it is evident that much thought was put into this retreat. The shower space was comfortably adequate. The kitchen area was well stocked with dishes, etc. The two dogs were friendly. the bed was comfortable. The chairs to sit in were comfortable.
The entry porch looked like it had not been swept in a very long time. We had to ask for toilet paper. While the sink in the bathroom was capable of washing the dishes, the mechanics of doing that was challenging. The coffee pods were not identified and there were not a lot to choose from. Because of the roofline of this room, it was a bit challenging to stand up straight throughout the rooms; I often hit my head. We only received one towel each.
The rules and suggestions for the room were a bit out of date. Had to ask for the recycling bin that was mentioned in the rules.
