Location near Mammoth Caves. It was quiet, top of long driveway, clear view sky and sunset. Lovely swing chairs available to enjoy the outside. We were welcome to do so. Snacks, ice, tea, and coffee readily available. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable. There were enough plugs for all devices. Small rural towns nearby for dining.
The driveway was just wide enough for the tires on my Sienna and no place to get off the driveway if there was a vehicle coming in the opposite direction. There was a spa tub, which for some could be positive, but for showering was awkward to get into. Grab bar was a plus. Keeping steady hot water was challenging. There was a problem with the pump used to equalize the city water pressure which caused it to come on and off frequently and loudly. This may have been fixed subsequent to our stay. We did not expect to have to enter through the house to our room. Hosts made this easy, but still made us uncomfortable. For the first time ever using Booking.com (and I have literally had 100 or more bookings), the host did not have our reservation.

Ideal location to stay if you like being out in nature but don’t feel like camping. Friendly hosts and delightful breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more of the local area. Hosts have great knowledge of the area and good recommendations for any interest.

Property is quaint and fairly true to description, although the WiFi was not working and the few TV channels that had reception cut in & out. Breakfast wasn’t remarkable and no fresh coffee (instant + teabags) or juice. We were here to support an ill friend and our phone didn’t have reception in their remote locale so without WiFi (which I purposely confirmed w hosts when booking) we were at a loss for communication. When we tried to cancel the 2nd night based on this issue, host told us they were “fully booked” that night and they couldn’t accommodate a refund to let us book somewhere else . So we had to stay - and found out that evening this was untrue, they were less that 1/2 booked :/
Host knocks on the door at 8am to announce breakfast! Rather rude …
