Westview Luxury Suites

Very nice apartment, spacious, and everything we needed. The shower was nice and hot. Simple instructions.

Parking was not ideal as someone had parked in our spot and although I messaged I didn't get a response. There was homeless around asking for money. The floors are very thin so we could hear every step from the apartment above.

Honestly, I loved the superior apartment. Very comfortable, good/quiet area that is literally 5-20 mins away from everywhere i needed to go.

I was given a confirmed 12pm checkout, yet at 11:27am a male cleaner entered the apartment while I was naked. I immediately screamed for him to leave, but he took an uncomfortable amount of time to close the door. This was an extremely distressing and invasive experience. What makes this even worse is that this was not an isolated incident. The cleaner had already returned before the agreed checkout time on another occasion. I had specifically been told that I could remain until 12pm, so I reasonably expected that this would be communicated to anyone entering the apartment. I raised the matter with Westview and Booking.com. Westview initially offered compensation, including a two-night refund, but I do not consider this an adequate resolution given the seriousness of what happened. I was also subsequently told that the refund had been processed, despite me not receiving the refund or any confirmation of it. Booking.com has now escalated the matter to Westview and given them 48 hours to respond. This was not simply an issue with the accommodation. It was a serious breach of privacy and a failure to respect an agreed checkout time. I was fortunate that nothing worse happened, but the situation could have been considerably more serious. The apartment itself may have been fine, but the way this incident has been handled has completely changed my view of the stay. Guests should be able to expect basic privacy and to feel safe in their accommodation. I did not receive that here. I hope Westview takes this matter seriously and reviews its procedures so that no other guest has to experience what I did.

Good size, great location, easy check-in. Very clean.

There was a strong cigarette type smell in the master bedroom which didn't go away after opening the window and made it impossible to use the room. It was very cold in the unit during our stay and we couldn't switch on the heat. Quite noisy in the unit next to the elevator.
