Direct trains run frequently from Paddington to Kemble (just 11 miles from the Castle) I would recommend using a car to get around but there is public transport, with buses running to Cirencester and surrounding Cotswold villages. The Cotswolds is a rural location so we highly recommend using a car to explore and get around the area if you are here for a few days.
