The downtown Skywheel is less than a mile away from the resort where you can take a ride in one of their air conditioned gondolas and see Myrtle Beach as you have never seen before. And at dusk, the Skywheel begins its light show. With over 1 million LED lights, the display can be seen up and down the boardwalk. The beach view, the breeze and the location was amazing. However the room was freezing, My 1 year old and 9 year old has asthma so that cold air triggered them to having an asthma flare which is not good. We had to close the vent and place a towel over the vent to allow the air to flow through the bathroom due to the temperature not surpassing 70. There were no additional comforters for any of the additional bedding. Only fitted sheets. So bring your own covers and a jacket. There was a dirty brown towel behind the chair in the master bedroom that wasn’t ours. The host responded efficiently through text and via phone which I appreciate. Prior to checking out we waited 40 minutes to receive a bell hopper cart they were all taken. After receiving the cart we waited another 30 to get on the elevator to go home. We enjoyed the stay however I wish the home had vent covers because it was freezing in the home.
