The peace and nature all around us. The accommodation was spread across a beautiful site that at first looks really wild but it's been really carefully created so that there are beautiful plants and nature all around you. The view down to the sea was stunning and the pool area was absolutely perfect, such a gem. It's the perfect place to get away and feel like you are really in Sicily! Locally, we explored all the beaches and snorkelling spots and there was hardly anyone on them.
When we went at the end of October, it's very quiet in the area so there's not much around in the way of coffee shops and restaurants. Enough to get by, but you definitely need to take your own food and drink to the local beaches and really you need a car. Not really a bad thing, just something to be aware of.
