genius loci was incredible. Have seen "Shining"? Being single in a large hotel in the mountains? No-one around, staff or guests? Want to re-enact? This is it. Unfortunately, the staff was (remotely) friendly and helpful, no-one arrived with a hatchet
the village is some 100 inhabitants, so I perfectly understand why the only sign of life after 8 PM was the river mumbling

A good stopover for a night. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.
The kitchen utensils were limited and as a result not overly used/clean.
