The location was terrific and very peaceful. The breakfast was fresh and tasty and eaten in lovely surroundings.
The bed was a little short for my husbands 6โ height and we found the duvet to be a bit lumpy.

This place was literally amazing!
It's based on such a quiet and peaceful land. There are workers on the grounds, but they don't disturb you in any way.
It's really picturesque staying here, the cottage is quaint, cozy and lovely, they provide most of the mod cons you'd be used to, they even provide some essentials for you too, like washing tablets, fairy, salt and pepper, regular coffee, tea and sugar, coffee pods, toilet rolls, towels.
And right next to it is a lovely little forest walk (it does have little lights which surround it, however these didn't turn on while we were there) and given it's set in such a safe area, you feel totally fine allowing your kids to run off and play around it. Just next to it is a further woodland walk as well. On the other side you have stables, where you can hear horses while you're waking up! This particular cottage has a fence around it, ideal if you have little ones or a dog that you don't want escaping so easily. You can take a walk into town which is about 20 minutes, walking passed fields with cows, horses in. It really does feel like another world being there. The town center is nice, has plenty of little shops etc and if you walk a little further you can see the sea!!
There is also the windmill museum that you can check out, plenty of places to eat and a skate park that my kids loved!!
If you're wanting a place to stay that's quiet and hidden whilst also being beautiful surrounded by idyllic views, this place is wonderful.
They also provide games and a game console.
I would happily stay here again!
The owners were lovely too, any issues you have, they are more than happy to resolve.
I feel like a rail in the shower would be safer, if anyone with mobility issues stayed, they'd likely struggle to not slip (we had to be very careful).
I think the couch in the living room could be better placed, the TV is small for the size of the room, so we had to move the couch to a better position.
It would have been great if fans had been provided, we stayed in a heatwave and it was unbearably hot during the night, fans would have assisted with this. We did open windows (obviously) but it just wasn't enough, so we didn't sleep very well unfortunately.
In regular or colder temperatures, this wouldn't be an issue, but it was more than 30 degrees on our first night ๐ฉ the final night was the only one we got to sleep on as it had cooled down.
Instructions for the hob would have been useful, I had to YouTube how to work it ๐๐
A mop would have been handy, I had two kids who like to spill things. They supplied a vac, just no mop!
It's a little pricey for the length of time you stay, a reduction would definitely encourage us to be back more.
